August is Awesome

I am sorry i have not been reporting, but i have been busy fishing. The salmon have moved in to shallower waters due to mother nature. The winds and currents have brought in cold water closer to shore. Bait is everywhere and there is no shortage of it. The salmon are large and getting larger. Hookedups best so far is 34lbs caught 8/16 on a afternoon trip. The steelhead and browns are still cooperating quite nicely as well. Limit catches have been the norm this year. The 5hr afternoon trips are doing very well. The water is green and the higher the sun gets the better the bite. I would suspect the fish will be moving into the front of the genny river by the end of the first week of september. There should be a pile of them when they show. I do have some afternoon trips available for the river fishing as i call it. Stay tuned
