August Salmon

This is the month that the salmon are putting the big feed bag on to get ready for their spawning in the fall. They have been showing up in the shallower waters along with the browns and lakers. The salmon seem to be a little finicky not sure why but that will change soon if not today. The steelhead fishing has been real consistent offshore with salmon mixed in there as well. There has been a real big class of steelhead, 12 to 15lbs.  The fleas in the water have been killing us with the recent hatch. Hopefully they will die off soon. I will be out 32 times this month so I will try to keep you informed. I still have a few dates available if you want to go fishing.
