Fantastic May Bite

The may fishing continues to be awesome. (like you never heard that before on this site) Mother has been nice creating a thermobar that we always hope would happen at this time of year. That is when the cold water offshore meets with the warmer water inshore and creates a barrrier. The fish do not want to be in that colder water. You troll those temperature edges and catch fish. There has been alot of suspended large lake trout (15 to 17lbers) steelhead, a few coho salmon and king salmon. The last three trips have had  20 to 30 bites and were  good enough to catch their limit. I hope light north winds prevail for the next month to keep that cold water close to shore, along with the fish. I still have a few days left if you are interested in this great thermobar fishing.
