Spring has finally arrived, or so we hope so. My first trip of the year are my customers of 27 years. They have to be the first ones out there every year. The friday of 4/11 was a perfect flat water day with warm temperatures in the air. We fished east out of the genesee river and plenty of action right from the start. The fish were hungry, must have been a long winter for them as well. In the 8 hr trip that day we had 42 bites and landed 31. They had caught 1 coho, 1 steelhead, and all the rest were browns. The biggest being just under 12 lbs. That is a awesome day in anybody’s book. The next day ( they always fish at least 2 days) we decided to go west for a change of scenery. We do this change up every year and it usually pays off, and it did. Our catch was identical to the previous day, except we had 36 bites and  landed 22. The largest was 10lbs but we had a few of them. So for two days of fishing they had 78 fish on an landed 53. That is smokin spring fishing for ya. Sundays trip was a short one and we hung around the river. Mother nature gave us about a half mile stretch of water to fish that wasn’t colored up to bad. The 2 guys i had managed to have 17 bites and got 12 of them, another awesome day. There seems to be plenty of fish this spring and they are chewing. Come on out and get some of this great action. This is perfect for families, kids, and even the old salts. Drop a email or call and i will get you “hookedup’
