Late June early July bite

I fished from the 22nd of june to the 30th, with 11 trips in that time frame. All i can say is holy steelhead. They piled in the 60 to 130ft range bigtime. In all my years of fishing (36) i never remember those fish doing that. I knew it was to good to be true. We had a awesome bite on those steelies for three days and then they slowly moved off to the depths unknown. There are still some around along with 2 and 3yr old salmon. I have been picking on the browns and lake trout as well. My clients have put several on the  L.O.C. derby board. Tey were a 19.15 laker and a 14.4 brown trout. My schedule is busy this summer which is all good. I will keep you informed.
