What a long ,cold, nasty winter. No wonder florida real estate has done well this year. Well despite the hanging on of old man winter, the launching of Hookedup will be april 1st. It does’ look like it will be getting warmer. I always tell people who enjoy the awesome spring bite to dress like they are sitting in a tree stand deer hunting. You can always take it off. Besides the heated cabin is warm also. That early april and may are some of the best action to be had. Many days you will get 30 to 40 plus bites. 70% are brown trout that run up to 15lbs and some larger. The rest are made up of a mixed bag of fish. The coho salmon show up at some point in the spring and chow hard. I think they are the best eating fish. They are the only fish you can’t target in the summer, so its nice to hammer them now.
