The 2019 season has begun

My friend and i went out on his 18′ boat today<it was 65 degrees> and fished for 4 hrs. We caught 21 and had 25 on the rod. They were all brown trout and nice ones at that. We had 5 that were pushing 10 lbs. They were hungry, frisky and looked great. They tasted even better for dinner tonight. This year is looking to be another awesome year on the big pond. We fished in 10 to 20′ of water using only four rods with stickbaits off of the planer boards. For those of you who have fished in the spring know the action is fast and steady. If you are thinking about doing a spring trip don’t hesitate you will not be disapointed. Hope to fish with you soon.
